WordPress is a powerful web design platform and Content Management System (CMS) which powers 30% of all websites on the web. We use it because it’s so user-friendly for our clients and offers the freedom for us to design the website without limitations.
Of course – we design our websites to make them as user-friendly as possible. We create a custom admin area for you so that you’re greeted with everything you need to manage your site as soon as you login. You’ll also have access to our extensive online guides which show you how to edit your site.
Once you’ve decided to go ahead, we’ll send you an invoice for a 50% deposit upfront. Once the website is complete, you’ll receive another invoice for the remaining balance.
Payment can be made via BACS (preferred) or cheque.
At the end of the project, we supply you with access to our online documentation which details how to edit your website so that you can update the website yourself.
Although of course if you have any quick questions, we’re just an email away!
Any further updates, amendments or changes to the site after it’s completion will be charged at our hourly rate.
Usually, we can get started on a new project within 2 weeks (sometimes sooner), so please bare this in mind if you have a tight deadline. We’ll give you an estimated start date when you book in.
This depends entirely on the size of the project, how many alterations are needed, the speed of communications etc. Usually we aim for a website to be finished within 4 weeks of the start date. You’ll receive an estimated completion date when you book in.
Before we start a project, we’ll go through a few things with you to get to know your business and your ideas for the website. We’ll need to know which pages you require, what features you need, and what content you’d like to include. You’ll need to prepare written content for the website before the project commences – this saves any delay during the development process.
We’ll also need a copy of your business logo, as well as any pictures, videos and graphics that you’d like to include (although we can source stock photos for you**).
Additionally, we’ll need access to your web hosting.
During the development process, you benefit from unlimited alterations*** to ensure that your website is perfect before going live.
* Whilst the ecommerce software won’t take a commission, please note that payments taken online with PayPal, Stripe or other vendors will incur a small transaction fee.
** We can source images from free stock photo libraries and selected premium libraries for free, but stock photos sourced from premium galleries which aren’t included in our service will need to be paid for additionally.
*** Unlimited revisions are subject to our fair use policy and may be capped at Superstar Bot’s discretion.
